Create a bold wine brand for a new Italian sparkling red wine that challenges the Lambrusco category legacy and consumer perceptions.

The Outcome

Introducing L’Occhiolino, Italian red wine…but not as you know it. Translating to ‘the wink’, L’Occhiolino captures the knowing wink and the excitement of being let in on a little secret, and the delight of unexpectedly discovering a hidden gem. From a contemporary creative treatment combining leisure and luxury, to a sophisticated yet playful type-led brand identity and striking packaging design, this ruby-red frizzante truly sparkles amongst Laithwaites’ fizz selection. The wine launched in true Italian style with the 'L’Occhiolino Brunch' at Cin Cin Fitzrovia.
